Had a relaxing 2 night-stay from the moment I checked-in. The room was bright, quiet with coffee facilities, balcony, for instance, I was pleased. The location of this hotel next to Canterbury and the coast, other areas like whistable, and that could n't be bothered to even try was stunning.

An exceptional accommodation with charm.
Everything a little bit outdated, especially the sanitary facilities (bathroom).

The king room had a lovely view from the window.
The air conditioning was inadequate in July, making it uncomfortably hot.

Lovely views but needs work
The location was spot on, with our balcony overlooking the river-such nice views! The staff were super friendly and went the extra mile. The dining was a letdown tho. My fish was off and the service didn't help. The outdoor dining area was nice, but with loud music, it felt a bit chaotic.

Fine riverside views and friendly service
The staff were cute, and I appreciated the delicious locally sourced food at breakfast. I found some areas of the hotel to feel a bit dated and could use a refresh.

The location was gr8, and we loved the breakfast! The staff were super friendly too. Our king room was nice and comfy, reminded me of home. Also liked the nice extra touches in the room.
But we waited forever for service at the bar, like 40 mins just for drinks and our food was kinda disappointing. The menu was limited and what we ordered just didn't meet our expectations.

The Grove Ferry Inn offers a fantastic location for families, with spacious rooms and easy access to outdoor activities. We enjoyed exploring the nature reserve nearby while our teenage sons had fun in the garden area. Minor issues with the limited menu, but the breakfast impressed us.

Great spot by the river!
Really loved the vibe here. Staff were super chill and helpful. The views by the river? Fine! Enjoyed a nice breakfast outside, but the area stunk of manure, which kinda ruined the mood. Oh, and my drink was stale, so we bounced early.
